It feels like wearing a suit of armor that was forged too small. You stand upright, gleaming and rigid, so the world sees a statue of strength—but inside, the skin is bruised and the breath is shallow.
The feeling of overwhelming helplessness living up to expectations that others place on us. Of having to keep up and putting up fronts of strength and security.
Inspired by the lyrics of REM's 1991 song "Losing My Religion" from the album "Out Of Time"

The soul broke free. It didn't wait for permission. It lunged toward the light, a dark streak of pure, unadulterated intent. The man remained, a hollow shell left behind, watching, waiting for release. He smiled a secret, invisible smile.
The vessel was still anchored, but the spirit is free.
Inspired by the lyrics of Bob Dylan's song "I Shall Be Released" from the year 1967.

A heartfelt tribute to the legendary Man in Black, Johnny Cash. This captures him in the twilight of his life. Cash sits at the piano, not as a performer, but as a man baring his soul and anguish. He sits in darkness in the "House of Cash" museum, surrounded by the dust covered trophies of gold and platinum records from his past but they no longer seem to have any significance. This is an icon coming to terms with his regrets, time, life and the inevitable.

A solitary figure finds a brief quiet sanctuary on the edges of city, with nothing but a small campfire to keep warm.
